Amitinder is a registered Physical Therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively across multiple specialties, including sports and orthopaedic rehabilitation, paediatrics, post-surgical recovery, and total joint replacement rehabilitation.
His professional interests focus on the advanced diagnosis and treatment of posture and muscle imbalances that contribute to chronic pain, workplace and sports injuries. He has a particular expertise in managing headaches, neck, shoulder, lower back, hip, knee, and ankle disorders.
Amitinder is a Certified Dry Needling Practitioner (ACCDN) through Acupuncture Canada and holds certifications in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion Rehabilitation. He is also Certified in Manipulation of the Spine and Peripheral Joints.
Amitinder takes pride in being a Certified CGIMS (UBC) Practitioner from the University of British Columbia.
His treatment philosophy combines manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, patient education, pain management, and posture correction strategies to help clients achieve long-term recovery and improved physical performance.
A former professional cyclist, Amitinder integrates his athletic background into his practice, providing unique insight into sports-related injury prevention and rehabilitation.
He currently practices full-time at Aldergrove Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre (Aldergrove) and Amari Physio and Massage (Surrey).
